One person were injured in a house fire in West Vancouver late last night.
RCMP Sgt. David Striker is being hailed as a hero after rescuing an 8-year-old girl who was trapped inside the burning home.
Emergency crews responded quickly, and the victims were taken to hospital with non-serious injuries.
Fire under investigation
