Following the Progressive Party of Canada's (PPC) high-speed getaway from their last rally, party candidates held another event at the Three Guys Burgers & Fries restaurant.

Shortly after the event began, witnesses state an irate male entered the building and began to verbally harass one of the party's candidates. Accounts indicate the individual produced an incendiary device, igniting a fire within the establishment. Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services arrived promptly and confirmed the blaze was quickly contained with no serious injuries reported.

The RCMP told The True North's reporters that they apprehended a suspect at the scene, however, they did not release the suspect's name or further details as charges had not been finalized.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as details emerge.
